RMEL Foundation Awards 51 Scholarships in 2022
For the 2022-2023 academic year, the RMEL Foundation has awarded scholarships to 51 deserving students pursuing careers in the electric energy industry. With students applying from across the United States and pursuing many worthwhile degrees and careers in the electric energy industry, it was very difficult for the committee to select the recipients out of such a high caliber pool of applicants.
Over the past 22 years the Foundation has awarded 512 scholarships totaling more than $1.1 million. The RMEL Foundation is proud to award funding to these deserving students for continued education in the electric energy industry. The scholarship donations have been established through individual and corporate donations, as well as contributions from the Silent Auction, Spring Conference Golf Outing and the RMEL Foundation Golf Tournament. Members have access to the RMEL Foundation’s Electric Energy Career Jump Start Directory, which is a vetted list of scholarship applicants companies can use in their search for interns and job candidates. If you’d like a copy of the list, contact info@rmel.org.
Recipients were selected based upon their goals for their future in the industry, motivation, academic achievements and service to their community and school.
This is the 17th year the RMEL Foundation has offered named scholarships. The named scholarship program accepts donations and provides scholarships on behalf of the donor. If your company would like to consider a scholarship please contact RMEL at (303) 865-5544.
